A shot I love from Megan and Josh’s wedding

Well actually this is instalment is two shots I love.. both of which featuring the mother of the groom, Joy.

So a bit about the wedding.. Megan and Josh got married at Pendrell Hall in early April. It was a pleasant spring day with just a few showers.

These shots are what I strive to capture at every wedding, those real moments and emotions that you just can’t set up or pose. These story telling moments really form the backbone of the wedding and in these two examples you can really feel the emotion.

So first up a ceremony shot – Joy had just given a lovely reading as part of the ceremony, she read from the heart and meant every word. It was an emotional ceremony anyway but the words she read really meant something to Megan and Josh. You can see Megan clearly wiping a tear and if I didn’t know better I’d say Josh is doing the same.

What I really love is the massive proud look on Joys face as she watches on, knowing her son is marrying his soulmate.

Next we have a shot from the speeches. Josh had found his childhood teddy bear and had him stitched up and made good again to present to his mum as a gift. Listen up guys this is how you do it, Joy was made up with this and I’m sure she will treasure the gift forever.
