Modershall Oaks wedding photography

Early March saw me back at the  Stunning Moddershall Oaks in Staffordshire for the wedding of Leona and Matthew. Moddershall Oaks is a great place for wedding photography with so much variety in the grounds. There is the amazing lake with a jetty, woodland area and at night the venue is lit up superbly.

Wedding ceremony at Modershall Oaks

Leona got ready at home, assisted by her mum (who’s wedding I shot last year!), sister and bridesmaids. Afterwards they travelled over in a Bentley to begin the ceremony and celebrations at Moddershall where Matt was waiting patiently.

The ceremony room can be set out two different ways, Leona and Matt had it set out lengthways to accommodate the maximum number of guests and even had a pianist to keep guests entertained.

Spring weddings

Being an early spring wedding the weather was less than predictable. Fortunately we were still able to shoot outdoors most of the day and got some cracking shots in the evening. The venue has an excellent area set up for outdoor ceremonies, including some artificial grass which is great for winder and spring weddings as all the ladies don’t sink with their high heels!

This was a great wedding at Modershall Oaks and it was great to catch up with the family again after I shot Barbara’s (Leona’s mum) wedding last year.
