Megan and Josh’s wedding at Pendrell Hall in Staffordshire

During early April I was back yet again to the wonderful Pendrell Hall, this time for the wedding of Megan and Josh. Ive got a busy year in 2016 with a record number of weddings and I’m pleased many of those weddings are at Pendrell Hall, its great to be at a high quality venue and I’ve gotten to know the professional and friendly events team really well…always good to see a friendly face 🙂

Natural wedding photography

This was an emotional day, I wont go into to many details as they are private to the couple but lets just say the readings during the ceremony and then the speeches after the meal were very heartfelt, well thought out and personal…sometimes photographers are glad we have cameras to hide our eyes 😉

Emotional days like this suit my style of natural photography down to the ground, so many great interactions and moments to capture and document which really tells the story of the wedding in years to come. Its always great to see when planning goes into the emotional side of the wedding, not just the material details such as flowers and table plans.

Father and Daughter dance

Perhaps some of my favourite photos from this gallery are of Megan and her Dad when they had their father and daughter dance, in some ways I can’t figure out why.. maybe its because since becoming a dad I’m really soppy about dad and daughter things and I can imagine how proud Megan’s father would have been.
