Christmas wedding at Heaton House Farm

I was really excited to have been booked by Laura and Shaun for their Christmas wedding at Heaton House farm, a bespoke wedding venue set in the Cheshire countryside. I had a wedding at Heaton last christmas and remembered how lovely it looked so was really looking forward to this one.

The team at Heaton house farm had gone all out decorating the venue with huge christmas trees, lights and decorations. Combining this with their warm and welcoming hospitality I knew the happy couple were in for an amazing day.

Under The Night Sky

Heaton House farm has a few different options for wedding ceremonies including out doors and the rustic feeling entrance barn. Laura and Shaun had often to have their ceremony in the room which has a wonderful star cloth ceiling and mood lighting called under the night sky. The lighting in this room is really atmospheric as you can see from the photos below.

Winter weddings at Heaton House farm

Baring in mind this was only a couple of days before christmas the weather was actually quite mild. Its a shame we didn’t have some snow but at least we were able to get outside for the photos. First of all I took the couple around the spectacular water gardens for a few shots and then some in front of the famous tree.

Vanilla in Allseasons

One of Heaton House Farms recommended caterers is Vanilla in Allseasons. Vanilla seem to be the most commonly used caterer when I shoot at Heaton, who is get news for me as their food is divine. I was very grateful to find Laura and shaun had ordered me a meal and it was the most delicious beef. I even managed to grab a crafty dessert….well it was christmas after all!

Style My Event

Venue dressing was taken care of my Style my Event in Cheshire. Baubles, chair covers and centre pieces all followed the christmas theme without being over the top and complemented Heaton House Farms decorations perfectly.

Natural wedding photography

This was a wonderful relaxed Christmas wedding at Heaton House farm, perfect for my natural style of wedding photography. Who wants to spend too long posing when there are celebrations to be had!
