Weston Hall Autumn wedding

Amy and Nick a beautiful and relaxed autumn wedding at one of Staffordshires best venues Weston Hall. I was lucky to have been booked to capture the story of their wedding and after meeting the happy couple a few times I knew it was going to be a great day. They were looking for natural and stay telling photography without too much fuss.

Weston Hall weddings

This prominent building just outside Stafford is an ideal wedding venue for those wanting a relaxed day in beautiful surroundings. Inside is decorated to the highest standards, the food is divine and the events team are super friendly and efficient.

The rooms at Weston Hall

Weston hall has some beautifully decorated bedrooms, and the bridal suite, called Weston, has a magnificent 4 poster and oodles of space. Amy was getting ready in one of the other rooms with all her bridesmaids and family around to keep her company.

Nick arrived in plenty of time before the wedding and I was able to capture a few relaxed shots of him and his groomsmen before the wedding. Fortunately Nicks mum was on hand to help him with his button hole.

The Shrewsbury suite

Most civil ceremonies at Weston Hall are held in the Shrewsbury suite and this is the room Amy and Nick selected for their ceremony. A lovely touch the couple had decided upon was each usher escorted a bridesmaid down the isle. Whilst not something I see very often this was great idea.

Photobombing Lamas!

After the ceremony the weather was fine so we headed outside for some photos. The beautiful autumn colours looked amazing and we even had one of the Lamas photobomb one of the shots! One of the things I like about Weston hall is there are great photographic opportunities in all weathers and all seasons, both day and night.

After the photos everyone headed back inside for drinks and to get ready for the wedding breakfast and speeches.

Blaze entertainment

Evening entertainment a weston Hall is provided by Blaze entertainment, not only an excellent DJ but also a really nice guy you can be sure to have all your favourites played.

Amy and Nick had their first dance followed by a father and daughter dance for Amy and her dad, then the dance floor was opened and everyone was in full party mode.
