A shot I love from Rose and Peters wedding

A shot I love from Rose and Peters wedding

Rose and Peter had their wedding at Fulford church followed by a reception at Weston Hall in Stafford.

The couple wanted a relaxed day with minimum fuss so my style of photography was just what they were looking for. Rose had lots of family and friends from over from Germany and I think it may had been some time since all the family were together.

So lets talk abut this shot.. as you can se its a sequence of two shots showing Rose’s daughter helping Rose into her shoes and dress.

Bidal prep is often one of my favourite parts of the day and the prep at Rose’s wedding was great for capturing emotion of different family members. Contrary to what a lot of brides expect, these days its rare to see people stressed out in the morning as professional make up artists and hair dressers always do a great job in ensuring everyone is ready on time.

What was special about Rose’s prep was the people who were there. A close friend was the hair dresser, Rose’s daughter was there, her mother and also another bridesmaid and everyone was super excited and focussed on making sure Rose had the amazing day she deserved.

And heres another shot from the other end of the day, this was after the first dance and as you can see everyone is still going strong!

What I love about this shot is the generations we have none photo all dancing the night away. Rose in the middle, her daughter on the left and Rose’s mother on the right hand side showing everyone how its done.

Posed family photos are great and very important but isn’t it great to capture natural moments that show true excitement, emotion and the family genuinely having a great time together.
