Tepee wedding Staffordshire – Sam and Harriet

I was really excited when Sam and Harriet booked me for their wedding. Not only was this my first Tepee wedding but when I met Harriet and Sam it was very apparent just how much time and enthusiasm the couple were putting into planning the big day and ensuring it would be personalised just to their taste.

So my forte time shooting a Tepee wedding and if every I was hoping for dry weather it was today! Fortunately whilst we did have a little rain it was nothing to worry about and we were actually blessed with some great moody clouds which made a fantastic contrast to the cornfield we used for some shots. This wedding perfectly suited my style of relaxed and natural wedding photography with so many things going on and guests enjoying themselves. Not only that but Harriet and Sam are a couple not afraid to show a bit of emotion, which alway makes great pictures.

The Dress and the Suits

Harriet looked stunning in her dress from Charlotte Thompson Bridal Boutique, a very elegant design which complimented with her and the theme of the wedding superbly. Sam and the guys wore suits from Next and had planned every detail right down to their socks, again suiting the theme of the day perfectly.

Bespoke wedding planning

A whole lot of time and effort had clearly gone into planning this wedding, from hiring the Tepee to the crockery and venue dressing, to lean games and organising the family church which was hugely welcoming and a perfect fit for all the guests. I’m sure Sam and Harriet would say planning a bespoke wedding such as this isn’t for the feint hearted but at the end of the day the effort paid off and a fantastic time was had by all.

Its been really hard to narrow down the photos for this wedding but I’ve focussed on the shots I think really tell the story of the day.
