Cranage Hall Spring wedding

Becky and Shaun had a stunning spring wedding and one of my favourite venues Cranage Hall in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Cranage Hall is a venue I’ve worked at a good number of times and on every occasion without fail I get a great couple to work with and come away with a great set of wedding photos and Becky and Shaun’s wedding was certainly no exception.

The venue itself is a stunning grade 2 listed building combining historic features with modern and current furnishings. The grounds are well maintained and cared for and it was great to see the new addition of an outdoor ‘bandstand’ which will enable couples to have outdoor ceremonies over looking the beautiful Cheshire countryside.

Becky must have booked me for her wedding a good 12 – 18 months before the date so it was good to have a pre-wedding shoot to meet Shaun and catch up with the guys to discuss their wedding plans. It was clear they were a fun loving couple wanting relaxed photography that reflected themselves as a couple. And that was the order of the day.. even when grand-dad got stuck in the lift Becky and Shaun were unfazed and didn’t get stressed!

It was a beautiful spring wedding at Cranage Hall and although the wind was making it quite chilly Becky and Shaun were happy to brave the breeze to get some great photos around the excellent and varied locations of Cranage Hall’s grounds. After photos and drinks reception guests were entertained by some emotional and humorous speeches before dancing the night away to the resident DJ.

To top off an excellent day we were graced with a stunning sunset and evening sky, what more could a wedding photographer ask for?
