The Heath House Wedding photographer – Hannah and Andrew
The Heath House, Tean wedding photographer – Hannah and Andrew
During mid April I had the pleasure to be Hannah and Andrews wedding photographer at The Heath House in Tean Staffordshire. This is a stunning family home built in the 1800’s which is still proudly owned by the same family who have lived at the site for seven generations. The Heath House is a wedding photographers dream venue, the house itself has the most magnificent staircase, beautifully decorated interior bursting with period features and furnishings acquired by the family over many generations. Each room is flooded with the most beautiful light from the large windows.
Exteriorly the grounds are bursting with photographic opportunities from the stunning orangery to well maintained gardens and lawns, not to mention the house itself providing a stunning back drop for your wedding photos. For the evening celebrations guests have use of the large marquee which is complete with a well stocked bar and outstanding decor. I was pleased when Hannah and Andrew said they wanted to book me for my relaxed and informal style and I knew it was going to be a great day.
Back to the day itself and I arrived at Hannahs parents house for the bridal preparations, there was a house full of excited family and friends there to support Hannah and help her prepare for the day. Hoar Cross church is but minutes up the road but Hannah and her bridal party still arrived in style courtesy of Cupid Carriages wedding cars. It was good to work with my colleague Jack from Up Close wedding productions who was expertly filming the day.
After the ceremony we just had time for the confetti shot and a few candids before the rain came and we made our way to The Heath House.
Initially guests mingled inside the venue but the rain soon made way for the sunshine and everyone went outside to enjoy the beautiful grounds giving me opportunity to capture everyone having a great time and take Hannah and Andrew for a quick portrait session.
The violinist Pete Hartley had been entertaining guests inside the Heath House and was now entertaining them as they sat down to enjoy their wedidng breakfast. After the food Pete got everyone up out of their seats to wake them back up and get back into the party spirit as he played some up tempo music and everyone danced around the tables. Speeches soon followed and they were both entertaining and emotional, Andrews best man had organised a fantastic slideshow showing many of the great adventures the friends had been on.
Dj Blaze provided the excellent evening entertainment and the party was in full swing as I took my final shots and headed home.
Hannahs Dress is from Beau Belles whilst Andrews suits are from Moss Bros. Flowers and decor from Sorella Events.
If you are looking for a wedidng photographer at The Heath House or anywhere else please get in touch to have a chat about your day and see what I can offer.
