Weston Hall wedding photographer

Laura and Rob got married at the hugely popular Weston Hall in Staffordshire during August 2015 and, being one of my favourite venues I was made up when they booked me to capture their day.

Weston Hall is a grade II listed Elizabethan building situated just out of Stafford, I live only about 15 minutes away so its always great to work there. One of the historic buildings of Stafford its always been somewhere I would visit over the years.

Having gone an extensive refurbishment a couple of years ago, Weston Hall is now one of the leading wedding venues in Staffordshire and boasts beautiful decor inside and highly maintained grounds outside, and of course lets not forget the Lamas!

When I arrived at the venue Laura was getting ready with her bridesmaids and parents. Everyone was really excited for the day ahead and the weather was looking superb – the scene was set for a perfect summers wedding.

Natural wedding photography

After a relaxed and lighthearted ceremony everyone headed outside to enjoy drinks and canapés in the sunshine, this was great time to capture lots of natural wedding photos and documentary shots of the guests enjoying themselves and congratulating the new Mr and Mrs on their marriage. I then took the opportunity to take the couple on a relaxed portrait shoot around the beautiful grounds of Weston Hall, and of course get a shot with those Lamas!

After the wedding breakfast and speeches the guests mingled outside enjoying the warm summers evening before making their way indoors ready for Laura and Robs make cutting and first dance. As soon as the formalities were over the dancing began and the party had well and truly started.

Weston Hall looks stunning at night, with the building illuminated and features such as the pegona there are a good few options for night photography at Weston hall. Not wanting to leave the party too long we nipped ousted briefly for a few quick shots before I left the newlyweds to enjoy their evening celebrations.
