Natural wedding photography in Staffordshire

Vanessa and Jon had a very bespoke and personalised wedding. The wedding ceremony itself was held at Ightfield Church in Whitchurch which is set in a stunning little village in North Shropshire. Then the reception was a Cloverley Hall which is just down the road from the church. Cloverley Hall is a Christian centre but also makes one o the finest venues in the area. They also stopped off at a fantastic pub called Olde Jack for afternoon tea and speeches.

Looking for a very relaxed coverage to match their wedding Vanessa and John booked me as their Shropshire wedding photographer a good 12 months before the big day so it was great to catch up with them and do a pre wedding shoot in the spring, although the weather certainly was different to the glorious summers day we had on the day of the wedding itself.

In between the ceremony and afternoon tea we went back to Cloverley Hall to do some photographs of the happy couple in the stunning grounds around the venue. Vanessa and Jon had booked the amazing Blue Pumpkin Campervan for their wedding transport, this made an excellent feature for some of the shots really is the best way to travel in style on your wedding day!

Later in the evening everyone mad their way back to Cloverley hall for a night of food and dancing in the marquee.

This was a fantastic wedding where everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It was a perfect day for documentary wedding photography with stacks of hugs and emotions to capture throughout the day.
