Staffordshire photographer – Claire and Andy engagement

Claire and Andy are due to get married in August at Dawley church and then onto Albrigh Hotel for their wedding reception.

All my full day wedding clients are offered an engagement shoot to give them chance to get to know me a little better and feel more at ease in front of the camera. Usually this leads to more natural and relaxed wedding photography on the big day itself.

That said, Claire and Andy seemed pretty relaxed in front of the camera as it was. They were even happy to be standing out in the rain having their photo taken! We decided to go to Lilleshall abbey for the photoshoot – this is an ancient abbey set just inside the shropshire border and is a great place for practicing wedding photography and family portrait shoots. There are old walls, archways etc that can make a great backdrop with plenty of variety.

It was a great shoot and I’m looking forward to photographing Claire and Andy’s wedding in a couple of months.
