Bishton Hall wedding photographer – Gemma and Tom wedding

During early May Gemma and Tom got married at the amazing Bishton Hall which is situated at Wolseley Bridge, between Stafford and Rugeley. This is a fantastic Georgian mansion which is actually a boarding school for children but then opens its doors for weddings during the holidays.

The grounds of Bishton Hall are stunning for wedding photography, huge well kept gardens, a fantastic temple for outdoor weddings and ancient trees all provide the perfect backdrop.

As Gemma and Tom, and many of their guests, were from out of the area they had hired Blithfield lakeside barns for everyone to stay at the night before, these stunning barns overlook Blithfield reservoir and are minutes away from the venue.

Little did Gemma know when she booked that hiring Blithfield lakeside barns was a huge stroke of luck: Without going into too much detail there had been a mix up with the wedding transport, meaning Gemma was going to struggle to get to the venue so asked the owner of the barns if she would drive her there.

The owner of Blithfield lakeside barns decided to take a step up and made a call to Stafford Landrover where she is a valued customer. Upon hearing Gemma’s dilemma Stafford Landrover provided a top of the range brand new Countryman complete with driver and ribbons to deliver the bride in Style.

Amazing and outstanding customer service from both Blithfield Lakeside barns and Stafford Landrover. This quirky method of transport was effect for Gemma and her one Tom didn’t like to follow tradition too much.

The sun was shining and the guests gathered for their outdoor ceremony followed by drinks and lawn games.A beautiful day which suited a beautiful ceremony. Following the ceremony I had the opportunity to make use of the stunning grounds for the wedding photos at Bishton Hall.

The wedding breakfast was no usual meal too – Gemma and Tom had hired the services of The Real Thai Pie company who have devised unique recipes for thai cuisine within a pie – it may sound strange but i had the pleasure of trying one and they are divine!

All in all Gemma and Toms wedding was a beautiful day with plenty of quirks and twists to tailor the wedding to themselves.
