Slaters Country inn wedding Staffordshire

Charlotte and Dale got married at Aston Church and went on to have their reception at Slaters Country inn near Newcastle under Lyme in Staffordshire.

I was pleased they had booked me t be their staffordshire wedding photographer as the church and venue are fairly close to me and I offer great deals for mid week weddings such as this one.

The weather was a little hit and miss when I arrived at Charlottes parents for her bridal prep photos, however judging by the big smile on her face Charlotte wasn’t going to let the weather get in the way of a great day.

After taking some detail and bridal prep shots I went onto the church, unfortunately photography inside the church was quite restricted but I was allowed to take a few of key moments for Charlotte and Dales gallery.

Nearby to the church is a beautiful stretch of canal where we decided to shoot the bride and groom portraits, this made a lovely backdrop and is a place Charlotte and Dale often enjoy going for walks. After the portraits we made our way to Slaters Country inn for the celebrations to commence.

The speeches were entertaining, moving and humorous and there was a delicious meal of local cheeses and other such delights.

When I left this beautiful Staffordshire wedding the dancing was getting into full swing and the party was getting started.
