A shot I love from 2016 – confetti

I’m going to (try) an write a blog a week about a shot I love from last year. Sometimes it may be a shot from my Best of 2016 blog, other times it’ll simply be because I personally love something about it, be that expressions, lighting, composition…anything at all.

Relaxed wedding photography

First up we have this shot from Sam and Harriets wedding. They had a really cool teepee wedding with a ceremony at an old norman era church.

So why do I love this shot?

I always love a great confetti shot. This is one of many from a sequence of images and what’s great about this is Harriets expression. Some photographers would bin a shot like this, but for me this shows the real fun behind a wedding day. I got plenty of nice smiley one that the boring photographers would call “flattering” but this one if my favourite!
