Christmas wedding at The Hundred House

Well just before Christmas I had the pleasure of shooting at The Hundred House on two consecutive days, the 22nd and 23rd December. I’ve worked at The Hundred House a few times and its a great venue with its rustic charm, cosy log fires, fine ales and great food – so I was more than happy when Victoria and Chris asked me to be their wedding photographer at The Hundred House in Shropshire.

For this wedding the day started off at Victorias house for bridal prep, everyone was super calm and relaxed I wondered if I’d arrived on the right day! But before long the excitement was starting to build as Victoria completed her make up and was feeling ready for the day ahead.

When I arrived at The Hundred House Chris was with his groomsmen checking the rom was ok and greeting family and friends in the bar, before too long everyone made their way across to Tithe barn ready for the wedding ceremony and arrival of the beautiful bride.

Another emotional ceremony followed and afterwards we made our way across to the bar for welcome drinks before nipping outside for a few photos, fortunately even being a winter wedding at Hundred house and the day before Christmas eve it wasn’t too cold and was quite mild.

As it was a relaxed day Chris and Victoria didn’t want too much fuss with the speeches so just said a few very touching thank you’s together to their guests before everyone tucked into a delicious meal and got themselves ready for a night of dancing and celebrations.
