Lilleshall Hall wedding photos
Lilleshall Hall is part of Lilleshall National Sports centre . A beautiful and imposing country house build in the 1800’s this is a fantastic and often underrated wedding venue. Set amongst the Shropshire countryside and boasting some of the best grounds in the county Lilleshall Hall is a great place for wedding photography. As well as the stunning grounds outside, Lilleshall also has beautiful staircases, wood panelled rooms and open fireplaces. Its no wonder Alice and Carl chose Lilleshall hall for their wedding reception.
Back to the big day itself, it was a crisp, fresh and dry winters morning on Valentines day – the perfect setting for a winter wedding at Lilleshall.
I started off the day at Alice’s parents house for some bridal preparation photography. To say this was an emotional day from the word go would be a massive understatement, just how it should be. Alice had her family and bridesmaid helping her get ready and when she came down the stairs looking beautiful her dad could barely contain himself.
The ceremony was held at a local church where there was a strong feeling of community, Alice is a brownie leader and her gang (?) of brownies had come in their uniforms to wish her well, the vicar was very welcoming and carried out the service with loads of warmth and humour. This really was shaping up to be a great wedding and a fantastic way to kick off my wedding season.
After the ceremony everyone made their way over to the venue to start the celebrations, and I was able to steal the couple away for a few minutes to make use of the amazing grounds and features for some wedding photos at Lilleshall national sports centre. Fortunately the weather was really quite nice for this valentines day wedding.
Here’s Alice and Carls storyboard, if you’re planning a wedding at Lilleshall Hall (or anywhere else) give me a shout here to have a chat about your photography.
