Alexe and Rich’s summer wedding at The Moat House

During the summer I was back to The Moat House Acton Trussell for yet another amazing wedding. This time it was Alexe and Rich who were set to tie the knot at this awesome wedding venue.

It was great to be back at the The Moat House at Acton Trussell, such a great venue where I got married myself, so it always has a special meaning when I shoot there.

Bridal Preparations

The day began with bridal prep as Alexe was getting ready in the library. She began by getting her hair and make up done before moving upstairs to put her dress on. Those first few hours were the perfect way to start her story and you could feel the excitement gradually build.

Wedding ceremony

The ceremony celebrated at The Acton Suite was fantastic, you could really see these guys love each other. After the ceremony it was time to head outside for reception drinks and photos.

Wedding reception at The Moat House

The reception was relaxed and fun and everyone had a lovely time enjoying the grounds and mingling. I captured as many natural moments as I could before shooting a few family group photos and portraits of the happy couple. The Moat House has no end of great locations for photos and being a summer wedding we were able to nip out in the evening for a couple more shots then too.

Into the evening the Dj got the tunes ready for the first dance and the party was started. I had a great day with Alexe and Rich and I wish them every happiness for the future.
