Emma and Marks wedding at Goldstone Hall

Still playing catch up with the blogging I’m pleased to present Emma and Marks wedding at Goldstone Hall in Shropshire. Goldstone is a fantastic venue that I hadn’t worked at before, so was absolutely made up when Emma and Mark booked me. By chance I had two weddings at Goldstone in 2019, I’ll blog the other one soon.

What I love about Goldstone is the warm and friendly feel it has. There’s a very relaxed and informal, countryside vibe to Goldstone. Not to mention that absolutely stunning grounds and gardens.

St Swithuns church Cheswardine

Emma and Marks wedding photography started at the church, the couple chose to get married at the very charming St Swithuns church in Cheswardine. Mark arrived very much in style, driving himself in a McLaren sports car, you could sure hear him before you could see him! Emma arrived in a Bentley and it was time to get the show on the road.

After the ceremony guests threw confetti at the couple as they left the church before making their way to Goldstone.

The atmosphere at the reception was perfect for entertaining the guests. It was a warm summers day although not too sunny making the light very soft, which makes lovely photographs. Goldstone has no end of photographic opportunities but I think my favourite spot was the archway with al the beautiful Wisteria.

Emma and Mark had booked fantastic band to perform, The Spectrum. As the evening drew in, some epic tunes invited the newlyweds and their guests to rock the dance floor.
