Foxtail Barns wedding – Jade and Nick
Finally, my first blog in absolutely ages! Since weddings opened back up following covid I’ve been incredibly busy. It feels like I shot a hole years worth of weddings from July to December, and they were all amazing! I’m going to blog as many as I can over the next week or so but in no particular order, perhaps concentrating on venues I’ve never worked at before first….so, here we go!
Jade and Nick had an amazing wedding at Foxtail Barns in the summer. This was my first wedding at this relatively new venue and I absolutely could not wait to get stuck in and see what the venue had to offer.
Built on the grounds of Consall Hall Gardens Foxtail Barns is owned by Best Day Ever Venues, who also run a handful of other well known local venues;The Ashes, Pendrell Hall and The Mill Barns. At all of which I’m very pleased to be a recommended photographer and work the venues regularly. It was therefore no surprise to discover Foxtail Barns had been built and furnished to an outstandingly high standard and the staff were as attentive and lovely as at all the other venues.

When I arrived at Jade and Nicks wedding it was raining, and I mean absolutely throwing it down! I was a bit disappointed a first as I thought it might have prevented me getting photos in the beautiful and extensive gardens. Fortunately it didn’t rain all day and we were able to go into the gardens later on that evening. In all honestly though, Foxtail’s is that beautiful inside rain really wouldn’t spoil the photos one bit. In fact since shooting this wedding I’ve shot a good number of other weddings at the venue and some were so wet we had to shoot inside all day, and the photos are still fabulous!

Following the ceremony, which is held in the Orangery with beautiful natural light. The guests were able to enjoy the rustic styled venue and bar area. When it came time to eat the guests moved through to the breath taking vaulted ceiling party barn. There is a choice of tables here, round of long trestle tables. Jade and nick opted for trestle tables and they looked absolutely superb.
When it was time to party the DJ and Sax duo really got the party going and the dance floor was in full vibe!
This was such an amazing first wedding at Foxtail Barns. It’s been great to shoot many more at the venue since then and I’m looking forward to returning lots this year too. If you’re planning a wedding and like natural photos please do get in touch, I’d love to hear form you.
