As usual during the busy wedding season I’m running behind with my blogs, but I fondly remember Chloe and Ryan’s fun wedding at The Mill Barns. I was excited to photograph another wedding at the The Mill Barns, as a recommended supplier it is a venue I know very well so it was great to be back.
Bridal Preparations
The Mill has a dedicated bridal prep room, which is where Chloe began getting ready for the wedding. She had her hair and makeup finished and I photographed the story as it developed. Her bridal party were decorating the room and getting excited for the day ahead. It was good to catch up with Ryan and his guys as they were getting ready and capture their final preparations.
Weddings at The Mill Barns
The ceremony room at The Mill Barns is stunning. High walls, oak beams and oodles of natural light is the perfect setting. Chloe and Ryan exchanged some very personal promises and you could feel the emotion in the room.
Following the ceremony everyone was in a celebratory mood and having great fun. I mingled around the wedding party photographing the guests candidly whilst they enjoyed their drinks and listened to the singer.
Spring wedding at The Mill Barns
Spring weddings are always fantastic weddings to photograph and it was great to make the most of the venue’s stunning grounds during the portraits. The sun was shining and it felt very summery as we captured the photographs.
A great party at The Mill Barns
Speeches followed the meal and all speakers delivered a great blend of emotion and humour. Once the evening got started it was time to let the hair down and dance. Wedding sounds DJ provided the tunes and the guests sure provided the moves.
