Katie and Patrick at The Mill Barns
I was really pleased to work at The Mill Barns a lot last year. Due to covid it had been a while since visiting the venue. I had a lot of weddings booked there over covid but, as the venue is so popular, when the weddings were postponed the couples were offered the chance to rearrange to sister venue Foxtail Barns to avoid having to wait too long for a date at The Mill. Which was great as Foxtails is equally as awesome, but as I say it was great to be back for Katie and Patricks wedding.
Relaxed wedding at The Mill Barns
Katie and Patrick are a super chilled out couple and wanted their photography to reflect this, which is why they booked me. I always find my couples prefer to spend their day enjoying time with their families and friends rather than spend too long on formal photos.
In the morning Katie and Patrick opened letters they’r written to each other for the morning of the wedding, how cute is that? Obviously I didn’t want to be obtrusive but this was definitely a moment worth capturing.
Wedding photography at The Mill Barns
Most of the day was about capturing Katie and Patrick having an amazing day with their family and friends, but The Mill has some of the most stunning photo locations around so it’s always worth taking a few minutes out to capture some great couples photos. In the evening there was some lovely low evening sun which made some stunning shots at the iconic front of the venue.
It was great to be back at The Mill Barns. If you’re planning a wedding give me a shout to tell me your plans, I’d love to hear from you.
