It was an absolute pleasure to be Danielle and Tom’s photographer on their big day at The Wood Norton, Evesham.
The Wood Norton is a brilliant venue. A grade 2 listed mansion that is both modern yet retains its original charm. The venue boasts stunning landscaped gardens and caters for both outdoor and indoor wedding ceremonies.
Outdoor wedding ceremony
I arrived early in the morning ready to photograph Danielle’s getting ready. bridal prep isn’t so much about photographing the entire hair and make up, more about setting the scene of the morning. The small details shot during bridal preparations create the foundation of a wonderful story.
before long it was time for the wedding ceremony. Danielle and Tom had chosen to get married outdoors, and the weather was absolutely perfect for it.
After the ceremony guests enjoyed drinks outside, enjoying the beautiful grounds and views. The weather did take a turn for the worst towards the end of the drinks reception, but we had already got the photographs we needed.
Wedding photography at The Wood Norton
I’ve shot at The Wood Norton before so am familiar with the grounds. There are so many great spots for wedding photographs you’re spoilt for choice. It was great Danielle and Tom put their trust in me to capture their special day.
After the delicious wedding breakfast, everyone waited eagerly for the speakers to deliver their messages. The speeches are a wonderful part of the wedding and a joy to photograph as a wedding photographer. This wedding was certainly no exception to that rule. All speakers delivered very heartfelt speeches, especially Danielle who ha clearly put a lot of thought into hers.
Later into the evening it was time of the first dance. The DJ son got the dance floor moving and as i left I could tell everyone would be partying late into the night.
