Yasmine and Dan’s spring wedding at The Moat House

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Yasmine and Dan’s wedding and what a fantastic day it was.

They picked a brilliant venue to get married in,  The Moat House in Acton Trussell, Staffordshire. It’s always great for me to shoot weddings at The Moat, I got married there myself so always enjoy being back. Being a wedding photographer in Staffordshire offers opportunities to work with lovely couples like Yasmine and Dan in brilliant locations like this one.

,I enjoyed recording Yasmine’s story as preparations begun in the morning at The Moat House. Yasmine was very keen to have mostly natural, unposed wedding photos. So I just did my thing and let the guys enjoy their morning.

I captured Yasmine as she had her hair and makeup done, her bridesmaids and mum were all on hand to assist and here was a great vibe the room. To develop a complete picture of the wedding, the groom’s prep story must be told. So I shot Dan getting himself ready and also the couples son who looked such a dude in his little suit.

Once everyone was ready it was time to go to the Acton Suite of the wedding ceremony. One of the bridesmaids gave a reading and it was great to witness there guys tie the knot and make their family complete.

After the ceremony everyone piled outside to enjoy the sun, giving me a perfect opportunity to capture some natural shots of the guests. Then I took Yasmine and Dan for some portraits around the beautiful grounds The Moat House has to offer.

We had a really sunny day, which was really nice to see, and helped make nice bold colourful photographs. All the guests took their seats after the reception, waiting for the much anticipated speeches.

Later in the evening we had opportunity for a few sunset photos before the DJ was ready to kick off the first dance.
