The Hundred House Hotel wedding Jess and Henry

Jess and Henry tied the knot and the wonderful Hundred House Hotel in Norton, Shropshire. I’ve worked at the venue many times over the years and it’s always great to be back. It’s really one of those quirky, unusual venues that really gets your creative juices flowing.

The Hundred House weddings

The main building of the venue is old pub visible from the main road. It’s a real imposing old house that can’t help to catch your eye. Inside there are a handful of really quirky bedrooms for guests to stay and the main bar area. To the back of the bar is the marquee where the wedding drinks reception is held and the there is the enchanted gardens which can be used for photos.

The ceremony itself takes place in the Tithe barn to the rear of the venue and is exclusive use for the wedding party. The even reception is also held in Tithe Barn.

A relaxed country wedding venue

The Hundred House hotel is a real relaxed wedding venue and popular with couples looking for a less formal wedding. This was exactly Dan and Jess’ objective too, they didn’t want a day full of formality and fuss, rather a fun filled day spent with their family and friends.
