Sandon Hall wedding Myles and Amy

As I continue writing blogs for last years amazing wedding I’m reminded what a great day Amy and Myles had at Sandon Hall. The couple had a few problem when the first venue they chose changed hands, but were obviously absolutely thrilled when Sandon Hall stepped in to save the day. Sandon Hall located in Sandon near Stafford was a perfect choice for the wedding. I’ve worked at Sandon Hall many times and its always so good to be back at such a prestigious wedding venue in Staffordshire.

Bridal Prep

Amy began her day at Eccleshall bed and breakfast. Photographing Amy as she prepared for the day was an exciting way to begin the story. She had a room full of girls all excited to help her get ready for the big day. I caught up with Myles as he met up with friends for a pre ceremony pint at a nearby pub.

Wedding at All Saints Church Chebsey

Once all the prep had finished Amy arrived at the ceremony in a a stunning classic car. The couple had chosen All Saints Church in Chebsey for their ceremony. I hadn’t been to this church before so was great to see somewhere new. A beautiful little old country church, perfect for an intimate and relaxed wedding. It’s moments like this that make my job as a Staffordshire wedding photographer so rewarding. After the ceremony guests mingled outside the church before heading over to Sandon for the reception.

Wedding reception at Sandon Hall

As soon as we got to Sandon it was time for everyone to get a much needed drink. I spent some time capturing lots of natural photographs of guests mingling, perfect for telling the story of the wedding. Sandon Hall has no shortage of beautiful grounds so when it came time to shoot the group photos and portraits we were spoilt for choice.

Once the drinks reception was finished it was time for the guest to make their way into the Saloon for the wedding breakfast. Myles and Amy made their grand entrance down the famous staircase as guests cheered and applauded the newlyweds.

As the evening drew in it was soon time for the first dance and what an absolute party they they had! I had an amazing day with Myles and Amy and it was great to be back at Sandon Hall for another brilliant wedding.
