Heaton House Farm summer wedding – Jack and Katie
Jack and Katies summer wedding at Heaton House Farm
As I continue to blog last years weddings Ive just been reminded what an awesome day Katie and Jack enjoyed at Heaton House Farm in the summer. Im hugely proud to be a recommended supplier at Heaton House Farm, it is such an awesome venue with the most amazing staff. The venue is located close to the Staffordshire and Cheshire boarder with stunning views over both counties countryside. As you can imagine, a fantastic venue for those hazy summer days. Its always great to be back photographing a wedding at Heaton House Farm, definitely one of my favourite wedding venues.
Bridal preparations
Katie began getting ready in the dedicated preparations room at Heaton house. The venue but this dressing room a couple of years ago and its made a huge difference. The morning prep isn’t just about the hair being done and make up applied, but to give the perfect start to the storytelling aspect of the photographs. Jack was getting ready in the cottage and I caught up with the guys on their way to greet guests arriving at the venue.
Wedding ceremony at Heaton House Farm
They are a handful of options for your ceremony at Heaton but Jack and Katie had opted for The Entrance Barn. The couple enjoyed a very relaxed ceremony with a reading from a close friend. The whole vibe at this wedding was to be relaxed and less formal. I tend to find clients who book my style of photography are looking for a relaxed wedding.
Summer wedding vibes
Following the ceremony guests congratulated the couple and enjoyed the glorious sunshine. I spent my time capturing the natural moments and building the story of the wedding.
It was soon time for the guests to enjoy the wedding breakfast and speeches. Friends had put together a wonderful collection of video messages that really showed how much the couple is loved.
Evening reception
As the evening drew in it was time for the first dance. This was the first time I’d worked with DJ Tom Finkill, and what a fantastic host he is. Before the first dance Tom had everyone up on the tables dancing and building the atmosphere.
Following the first dance it was nearly time for me to say my goodbyes, however once again Heaton House Farm didn’t disappoint and provided one fo their trademark sunsets.
I had an absolute blast at Jack and Katies wedding. If you’re planning a wedding at Heaton House farm, or anywhere else and would like relaxed wedding photography please do get in touch.
