Heaton House Farm wedding – Emma and Ben
Heaton House Farm wedding – Emma and Ben
Emma and Ben booked me to shoot their wedding at Heaton House Farm in early June. This was the first of two weddings in a row I was shooting at Heaton and with the sun shining I was rearing to go.
When I arrived at Heaton Emma was getting ready in the bridal suite “Cloud View”. With her mum and bridesmaids all on hand to share the excitement and help her get ready it was clear Emma was set for an awesome wedding.
I met up with Ben when he arrived to shoot a few getting ready shots of him and his best man, he was as cool as ever…maybe hiding the nerves about what was to come next!
Wedding ceremonies at Heaton House Farm
Heaton House Farm has several options for the wedding ceremony, from the rustic entrance barn to an outdoor ceremony. Ben and Emma had opted to have their ceremony in the room called “under the night sky” which is illuminated with atmospheric lighting.
Heaton House Farm sunsets
A sunset is never guaranteed, but if they get one Heaton REALLY get one, and for this wedding we were blessed with a beautiful orange glow as the sun went down. Fortunately just as I was due to head home Emma and Ben were available to nip outside for a couple of shots with the famous tree and beautiful sunset giving the perfect way to end their set of wedding photographs.
Andy Murphy DJ
It was great to finally work alongside Andy Murphy, a multi award winning wedding DJ from Manchester. Along with Andy’s top class mixing the couple had booked an amazing saxophonist to accompany the tunes for a couple of hours.
Make up was provided by Olivia Naylor, hair stylist was Serenity and Emma’s gorgeousĀ dress was fromĀ Sense & Sensibility Bridal in Stockport.
All in all this was a wedding to remember with some cracking portfolio shots to boot. If you’re planning a wedding at Heaton House Farm (or anywhere else!) please remember to contact me to chat about your photography.
