Nicola and Richards Farm wedding in Shropshire
Nicola and Richards Farm wedding in Shropshire
Still catching up with my 2019 blogging here is Nicola and Richards Shropshire Farm wedding. I do love a good farm wedding as this one was no exception. I think what always stands out to me about farm weddings is the creative, DIY approach and just how personalised they always end up to be. I guess when you start with little more than a field and marquee you have to put some serious thought into making it special.
The day began over at Nicola’s beautiful country house where she was getting ready. It was great seeing her brother and dad dressing up the cars ready to take her to church. I live for natural photography and those little story telling sequences are great fun to capture.
St James The Great Church
Nicola and Richard tied the knot at St James The Great Church in Shropshire. It was a lovely relaxed ceremony amongst loads of their family and friends. You often find with farmers weddings there are lots of guests as all the community comes together and joins in the celebrations.
Marquee wedding reception
The reception was fantastic. Not only had Nicola and Richard completely gone to town with decorations and personalisations but they’d thought of some great entertainment for the guests too. There were fun crafts to enjoy, live music and even laser clay pigeon shooting which as you can imagine got fiercely competitive!
Once the band kicked off in the evening the dance floor was rocking and the party had well and truly started. Nicola and Richard really know how to create a fantastic wedding and I’m honoured they chose me to capture it.
If you’re planning a wedding and are looking for a relaxed and natural style of photography please do get in touch and have a chat about your day.
