Emily and Chris at Foxtail Barns
It was great to be once again back to Foxtail Barns, this time for the stunning spring wedding of Emily and Chris. It was a real pleasure to shoot this wedding, the couple are two of the most down to earth and genuine people you could ever meet, so it was a pleasure to spend the day with them.
Spring wedding at Foxtail Barns
I think I’ve photographed a wedding at Foxtail Barns every month of the year, at least a few per season. It’s a fantastic venue all year round and works brilliantly in all weather conditions. Of course, as the venue is part of the Consall Hall estate and gardens, the grounds are forever changing its the seasons and the colours of the foliage are forever changing.
Spring is a lovely time for weddings. We’re often blessed with good weather and light and the tree’s are starting to get their leaves back. Emily and Chris had a lovely fine day s we were able to hop in the buggy and her down to the gardens for some couple portraits.
Natural wedding photography
Natural wedding photos were very much the order of the day for Emily and Chris. They didn’t want to spend hours on formals when they could be enjoying their time with the family and friends celebrating their big day. The couple had booked the amazing band, Captain Atlantic to perform an acoustic set during the drinks reception and a full set in the evening. I’ve worked with these guys a few times over the years and they’re really good. Bands and weddings really work well together and if you’ve got guests that like dancing a band will be sure to fill the dance floor.
This was yet another amazing wedding at Foxtail Barns. If you like this style of photography please contact me to tell me your plans
