The Moat House Acton Trussell wedding Gemma and Ross

During early summer I once again I found myself back at The Moat House in Acton Trussell for the wedding of Gemma and Ross. The Moat house is a great wedding venue for a number of reasons including the magnificent grounds, beautiful light in the Acton Suite and attentive professional staff who always ensure the day runs smoothly and to plan. Having got married at The Moat House myself a few years ago its a venue I can personally relate to. Althogh I work across a few counties its great to be close to home working as a photographer in Staffordshire, and just round the corner from my house!

The was a lovely early summer wedding, the sun was shining and the weather was stunning. Gemma was relaxed throughout preperations and was in safe hands with Michelle from The Perfect Make up. Slipping into a stunning Maggie Sottero dress and the all important Jimmy Choo’s Gemma looked amazing and was ready to rock down the isle to her waiting groom to be.

After the ceremony everyone went outside to enjoy the sun and a remarkable piano and cello duet Finesse, there was also The Moat House ice cream cart which went down a treat with guests young and old (and me!). I took the bride and groom on a quick walk around the grounds for some couples photos before heading in for speeches. Wth regard to the speeches, Gemma’s dad did the best father of the bride speech Ive ever heard!

There was some great evening entertainment provided by a magician who was absolutely mind blowing before Gemma and Ross enjoyed their first dance as Husband and wife.
