Shropshire wedding photographer

Grace and Gavin got married at the quirky yet very beautiful Hundred House hotel in Shropshire. Considering their wedding day was late in September the weather was exceptionally kind with a bright and sunny day. When I arrived for the bridal prep photography Grace had a room full of bridesmaids and flower girls – to say it was madness was an understatement as everyone was so wonderfully excited!

The ceremony was beautiful and emotional, but there was also some hidden humour with a couple of guests giving some very entertaining readings. After the ceremony guests enjoyed reception drinks in the garden whilst we did the group photographs and onto Grace and Gavin’s private portrait session.

Speeches were hugely entertaining with Gavin’s best men really giving some stick, I learnt its quite difficult to take photos when your crying with laughter…. Not only was it their wedding day but it was also Gavins birthday and Grace had an amazing surprise present for him – I gorgeous white Gibson Les Paul – WOW!

There was a stunning sunset over shropshire and the couple were happy to give me a little time to make the most of it.

There was a very skilled magician booked to entertain the guests at the evening reception and shortly after the couple enjoyed their first dance.

All in all it was a fantastic day to be part of with all the guests, Gavin and Grace being so friendly and hospitable .
