Moat House wedding photographer Staffordshire

Gary and Hannah got married at The Moat House Acton Trussel on a very wet and cold day in October. This wedding was particular importance to me as I’ve known Gary since I was very young, a great honour to shoot the wedding of an old friend.

Although the weather wasn’t the best it didn’t stop Gary and Hannah having a great time, it’ll take more than a bit of rain to dampen the spirits of a bride on her wedding day. As usual the Moat House went the extra mile to ensure their guests had a wonderful time, including allowing us to use confetti indoors and use a table cloth to protect the dress from the wet ground – in my opinion that really does show why the Moat House is one of the best venues in the county.

As a wedding photographer in  Staffordshire I’m often asked what we’ll do if it rains – and as you can see below there is lots we can do inside and then nip outdoors between rain showers wherever possible.
