Moffats School wedding

During late July I had the great pleasure of shooting Jonathan and Emma’s wedding at Moffats School in Shropshire. I’d never heard of this venue before meeting the couple and upon talking to them I realised why…its a private school with only a handful of weddings per year, usually only for past students. In many ways its a shame they don’t have more weddings at Moffats School, its a remarkable building set amongst 100’s of acres of the shropshire countryside and has a church within the grounds. But on the other hand the fact there are very few weddings held at Moffats made it even more of a special wedding to shoot.

This was a day that had been planned out perfectly and ran smoothly, yet it wasn’t over coordinated and was relaxed all throughout. There was a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere at both the church and school and all guests seemed very willing to play their part in making Emma and Jonathan’s day one to truly remember.

As the wedding was entirely planned and coordinated by the couple there were bags of personal touches and details, everything from lawn games to guts popping their own champaign for the speeches (something which went down very well and was heaps of fun). It was clear to see Jonathan and Emma had really put their own stamp on the day yet left no stone unturned in planning to the finest detail.
