Albrighton Hall Hotel wedding photographer Shrewsbury – Claire and Andy
Albrighton Hall Hotel weddings
Albrighton Hall hotel is a wonderful 18th centuary manor house situated around 4 miles from Shrewsbury centre. As a 4 start hotel owned by the Mercure group you can be sure of high standards and excellent quality, it was no wonder Claire and Andy decided to have their wedding at Albrighton Hall.
The ceremony itself was held at Dawley Church, which has great sentimental significance to Claire. We even recreated a shot in the same arch-way where claire granddad had stood with Claires mum on her wedding day. Photography wasn’t permitted throughout the main part of the service, and as a professional I would never go against the rules of the church and take “sneaky” shots.
After the ceremony we were dodging the showers on our way to the venue but fortunately upon arriving at Albrighton Hall the weather took a turn for the best and we had some glorious sunshine for the remainder of the day.
Albrighton hall has 15 acres of well maintained grounds to make use of during the photoshoot an during the evening the kids (and big kids) were enjoying a game of football on the lawn. It was particularly comical when the ball ended up in the lake and one of the guests dived in to retrieve it!
All in all the day seemed to have the perfect balance of emotion and humour and I’m sure Claire and Andy had a great time.
