Steph and Ian’s spring wedding at The Moat House

Steph and Ian celebrated their wedding recently and I was lucky enough to be their wedding photographer. The couple celebrated at The Moat House in Acton Trussell, Staffordshire. I’ve worked at The Moat House many times now, it’s a venue that I enjoy every time I work there. Being a wedding photographer in Staffordshire offers great opportunities to work with lovely couples like Steph and Ian in fantastic locations like this one.

All Saints Church wedding

Steph didn’t require any getting ready shots so the day started at The church where Ian was greeting the guests and nervously awaiting Steph’s arrival.

As the Classic Daimler came to a stop outside the Church, Steph looked really excited to finally get married. Steph and Ian tied the knot at All Saints Church, Leigh and it was a emotional ceremony amongst family and friends.

After the ceremony we did a few photos outside the church then headed over to the Moat House where the guests enjoyed a fantastic wedding reception on a lovely spring day.

Getting married in Spring makes for some fantastic pictures and we made sure to take advantage of some fantastic surroundings. It was a sunny day, which I was really pleased about, and meant we could all spend some time outdoors. The Daffodils were in bloom, which I think pleased Ian who is a proud welshman!

It was time for the wedding breakfast and then onto the speeches. Later in the evening gusts enjoyed some games in the library. Before long it was time for the first dance ad the couple got to showcase their moves!
