Steph and Matts wedding at The Mill Barns

It was a pleasure to be Steph and Matt’s wedding photographer on their big day. They were married at The Mill Barns in Alveley which is in the county of Shropshire. The scenic nature of the place makes capturing weddings at the The Mill Barns a delight, you couldn’t ask for a more unbelievable venue to get married at.

The Mill Barns was a delightful place to set the mood for Steph’s wedding day. The details, the atmosphere, the smiles; bridal prep is abundant in moments. Matt was at The Mill Barns making himself look very dapper, donning his suit and applying the final touches.

Wedding ceremony at The Mill Barns

The wedding ceremony was held in The Mill Wheel Barn. Steph looked absolutely stunning as she walked down the isle and I could see Matt was brimming with emotion. At the end of the ceremony the couple had arranged for everyone to have a sing along. This was a brilliant way to   set the scene for the fun day ahead.

The weather was warm and sunny so guests enjoyed drinks and mingled on the decking overlooking the Mill Pond. Steph and Matt had arranged some great entertainment in the form of George Simpson musician and Jamie Docherty magician.

There were some great speeches before the meal. Speeches are perfect for capturing laughter and emotion. Steph’s mum dropped a surprise game of “Mr & Mrs” onto the couple which was great for a laugh.  After the meal the magician performed his grand finale of making a wedding guest elevate, a superb performance.

Into the evening George Simpson performed a Dj set which soon got the crowd rocking on the dance floor. George is no ordinary wedding musician, he plays a host of instruments and DJs too.

Steph and Matt really know how to create an amazing wedding and it was a pleasure to be part of it.
