Winter wedding at Pendrell Hall – Katie and Stephen
I’ve been working at Pendrell Hall for many years and I’ve covered weddings there in all water conditions but one…snow. Somehow I’ve just never been fortunate enough to have worked a snowy wedding at Pendrell, I guess we have snow so rarely it’s just luck of the draw.
But in December it finally happened, thick snow at Pendrell Hall for Katie and Stephens wedding. Hurrah!
Christmas wedding at Pendrell Hall
I love Christmas weddings, everyone is the mood to party and they always have such a lovely vibe. Pendrell Hall had two Christmas tree’s up and Katie and Stephens venue dressing was absolutely perfectly fitting to the time of year and occasion. All in all the scene was set for a fantastic Christmas wedding at Pendrell Hall.
Winter Wedding photography
Whilst snow does make a wonderful backdrop to your wedding photos it does raise one problem, it’s really cold and no-one comes to a wedding dressed for snow. So for this reason I really do advise winter weddings not to have many group photos so the guests don’t get cold too. Fortunately Katie and Stephen didn’t opt for many groups, meaning by the time we got round to taking some couple photos in the lovely snowy grounds the couple weren’t too cold.
One of the amazing things about wedding photography at Pendrell Hall is you don’t need to go far to find some great spots and variety of backgrounds. This means I was able to capture some amazing snowy photos of the happy couple without keeping them outside until they went blue!
I really enjoyed shooting Katie and Stephens wedding at Pendrell Hall and to finally be blessed with now after all these years was the icing on the cake. Planning a wedding and want a chilled out wedding photographer? Drop me a line and let’s chat.
