Emily and James Autumn wedding at Somerford Hall

Catching up with the blog posts I’m proud to present Emily and James’ wedding at Someford Hall from the Autumn. I’ve shot many weddings at Someford and its always great to be back. Somerford one of those venues that is great for wedding photography in all seasons.

Bridal preparation

I started my day at Emily’s parents house to capture her bridal preparations. All the girls were relaxed yet excited for the day ahead. Jennifer Lee make up artist was working her magic making the girls look even more perfect.

I then nipped over to the couples house to see Jame and his groomsmen. Being Scottish James was wearing traditional highland attire. They then travelled to the church in style in Platinum wedding cars awesome Bentley.

Wedding at St James Church Acton Trussell

The wedding ceremony was at St James Church, Acton Trussell. This is a great church for a wedding, the vicar is always very welcoming and conducts the ceremony in good humour, this helps to put everyone at ease which allows them to enjoy the ceremony more. Emily nd James certainly had plenty of smiles as they tied the knot!

After the ceremony guests threw confetti at the church before heading to the venue for the drinks reception.

Somerford Hall is a great venue for wedding photography in all seasons. We were blessed with a fairly warm sunny day so were able to make use of the extensive grounds and some lovely low autumn sun.
