Oak Farm wedding photography Brad and Sarah

I had the opportunity to photograph Brad and Sarah’s wedding ceremony a few weeks ago. The couple got married at Oak Farm Hotel which is close to in Cannock, Staffordshire. I’ve shot at Oak farm in the past but this was a few years ago. It was great to see the venue has had a refit and looks even better now.

Brad is an old friend from my previous life as a (failed!) DJ, it was great to catch up with him again and see how his young family has grown. Brads best man was his son, Toby. I have to say the young man is an absolute credit the couple and fulfilled his best man duties flawlessly.

On the morning of the wedding I went to Brads parents house where Sarah was getting ready with her bridesmaids and daughter. I then nipped over to the guys before making my way to the venue.

Wedding ceremony at Oak Farm

It was an honour for friends and family to witness Brad and Sarah’s big day at Oak Farm. I couldn’t ask for a better job than being a Staffordshire wedding photographer and ceremonies like this one remind me why I do what I do.

After the ceremony the couple mingled and enjoyed reception drinks. I enjoy drifting among the guests to take the best shots and witness the stories unfold as the hours go by. We then nipped outside for some family photos and couple portraits before heading in for the wedding breakfast.

Oak Farm Autumn wedding

The season can really have an impact on a wedding and I find Autumn weddings are some of my favourite. There were some lovely autumn colours but still some great light.

After the wedding breakfast it was time for the speeches. Sarah’s brothers gave some entertaining speeches along with one of Brads ushers. However the man who stole the show was Toby with a speech delivered with the confidence most best men can only dream of.

When it was time for the first dance DJ Paul from Blaze entertainment had the privilege of playing one of Brad and Sarah’s favourites from their raving days Come as One by G-Towm Madness & The Viper.
