Back in the summer I got to shoot Amy and Stefan’s “Alice in Wonderland” themed wedding at The Heath House.

I’ve shot weddings at The Heath House a few times and always look forward to working there. A country house wedding venue with stunning archetecture and interior design that is nothing short of spectacular. Externally the grounds are equally as impressive with acres of landscaped gardens and countryside views for the guests to enjoy.

Alice in Wonderland themed wedding

Amy and Stefan’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’ theme was done extremely tastefully. It wasn’t over the top or in your face but drew inspiration from the story in just the right places. One area that deserves special mention is the totally epic cake by Mandys Cakes, it was almost too good to cut!

It was great to work with a couple of my regular suppliers, Michelle from The Perfect Make up spent the morning making the girls look even more beautiful. Jack from Up Close Wedding productions was skilfully videoing the event in his relaxed style.

Theres one more special feature I’ve yet to mention and that is Amy’s dads stunning classic car. I’ll have to admit ignorance and say I don’t know what model car it is (feel free to email me the answer!) but it really was a beauty and I’m very honoured to have photographed it.
