Marie and John wedding
On 21st December I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Marie and John’s wedding at the stunning Packington Moor, near Lichfield.
Being the shortest day of the year I was a little nervous about how quickly it may go dark, fortunately we were lucky with the weather. It was as good as we could of hoped and staying fairly dry and light until 3pm.
The service was held at Whittington in a lovely little church with a lovely, humorous female vicar.
Being a photographer himself John was aware of the challenges winter weddings posed to wedding photography. Fortunately they planned ahead and booked a 12pm ceremony and knew we would have to work fast before it got dark.
I have to say they were excellent clients to work with, Marie didn’t moan once that she was cold and had the realistic opinion that the bottom of her dress would probably get a bit muddy!
I was joined on the day by one of my photographic inspirations and friend Simon Revill who came along to lend a hand.
Here are a selection of images from marie and John’s big day.

These are fantastic, was there ever a happier Bride and Groom.
