Sandon Hall wedding photography

When Laura and Tom first contacted me about their spring wedding I was eager to meet them to talk about their wedding at Sandon hall as this is one of my favourite venues in the county for wedding photography due to the impressive architecture and extensive grounds. But when I met up with the happy couple I was even more excited to have been booked as it dawned on me that Laura used to live down the road from me when we were at school and I knew both her brothers Robert and Martin, sadly we were no longer in contact but its always great to catch up with old friends.

Fast forward 6 months or so and its their wedding day – I arrived at Laura and Toms house for Laura’s bridal prep to find an unusually calm and relaxed bride enjoying getting ready with her bridesmaid, mum and son who proved to be quite a character and serious computer genius too!

After preparation I made my way to Aston church where the couple were getting married, Tom was waiting patently with his groomsmen and family and Laura arrived bang on time in a stunning vintage wedding car. The vicar was a family friend of Tom which led to a more relaxed and humorous service which was enjoyed by all the family and friends.

Following the service we made our way to Sandon Hall, it was a glorious sunny spring day and the gardens at the venue were already looking magnificent. The guests enjoyed canapés and drinks in the orangery whilst I took the couple outside for their wedding photographs at Sandon hall and around the gardens.

After a wonderful wedding breakfast by Jenkinsons caterers the guests enjoyed the speeches, and Toms two best men both delivered cracking speeches that were entertaining, funny and extremely well written. We nipped out for a quick couple of shots of the sunset before the evening guests arrived and everyone danced the night away to the Dj.
