Sandon Hall wedding photographer Staffordshire

Sandon Hall is one of counties biggest and best wedding venues, so all staffordshire wedding photographers would love to work there and on 25th May I was the lucky guy who got to shoot Alex and Matts wedding.

The day was bright and sunny when I arrived at the venue for bridal prep shots. Alex and her family were all there and getting excited and having breakfast, they even bought me a bacon butty to make sure I didn’t flake out during the day!

Whilst I was shooting the bridal prep the second shooter, Tom Astley, was covering the boys prep at the swan Hotel in Stafford. As usual the groom and his men get ready much quicker than the girls in order to find time for a quick pint before the ceremony.

The ceremony was held in the beautiful All Saints church within the Sandon Hall estate. The vicar was quite strict on photography so there are few photos from the ceremony but he was a real character with a brilliant sense of humour.

The sun stayed out all day so all guests had a great time mingling outside giving me chance to capture some great natural wedding photography and also the formal group shots.

The speeches were extremely emotional but also very funny and entertaining wit the best man reeling off story after story about the groom – I better not say anymore than that!

All in all it was a fantastic day and I truly felt honoured to have been a part of it.
