Mytton and Mermaid Wedding photographer Shropshire – Rachel and Stuart

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure to be wedding photographer at the Mytton and Mermaid in Shropshire for the wedding of Rachel and stuart.

The service was held in a fantastic old church near the couples home, unfortunately the vicar prefers there to be very little photography throughout the service so I have few to show from the ceremony itself as unlike some photographers I prefer to respect the wishes of the minister and conduct myself in a professional manner.

The day started off with bridal prep photography in Shropshire before heading over the Stuarts dads house for a few shots of the groom and his groomsmen.

It was a very wet day with heavy rain through out most of the day however when the sun did come out it was extremely bright – so all in all a challenging day for any photographer!

After the ceremony we headed over the Mytton and Mermaid to continue the celebrations and wedding photography in Shropshire. The bridesmaids had a surprise in store for the happy couple, they had hired Reply Acoustic Duo – a talented guitarist and female vocalist to entertain the guests throughout the drinks reception.

The day was filled with emotion and happiness, all guests were friendly and welcoming and I was truly honoured to be their wedding photographer.

Here are a few images from Rachel and Stuarts big day:

Lovely photos. Love the groom’s face at the front of the church and the bride’s first glance at the groom when she walked down the aisle. You captured that perfectly.
