Shropshire Wedding Photography – Hannah and Nick at the Buckatree in Telford

Saturday 12th November saw the marriage of Hannah and Nick at the Buckatree Hall Hotel in Wellington, Telford Shropshire. After a week of uncertain weather i think I was as relieved as the bride when I woke up on Saturday morning to sunshine! During Autumn and Winter months one thing that can cause a problem for wedding photographers is the weather, the light is short lived and not all venues have picturesque interiors that look good for wedding photography.

I arrived at Hannahs parents house for the bridal prep at around 11am, to capture some shots of her and the bridesmaids getting ready before heading on over to Wrockwardine Church for the ceremony. It was a beautiful church ceremony and Hannah and Nick had the place full with family and friends wishing them well. Hannah looked stunning in her dress and veil whilst Nick looked the business in a sharp suit.

On to the Buckatree for the reception and we were fortunate enough to make use of their stunning grounds for group shots and portraits, the light held out just long enough to get creative with lighting to make the bride and groom ‘pop’ from the background.

After some emotional speeches and cutting of the cake we had a few minutes rest before the first dance at 8.00, the party was just getting going when I left at around 9.30pm, I’m sure the newly weds and friends partied late into the night.
