Rowton Castle Wedding photographer

Emma and Tom got married at the stunning Rowton Castle near Shrewsbury. As I’m based on the Staffordshire/Shropshire border I often work as a Shropshire wedding photographer, and this has to be one of my favourite venues in the county.

As this wedding was in February we were worried about the weather but as you can see it was a glorious day, surprisingly warm and perfect for a wedding at Rowton Castle where we could make use of the beautiful grounds and secret garden.

Emma looked stunning in a vintage 40’s inspired dress and Tom struggled to contain his emotions as she walked down the isle.  There were beautiful readings by family members and the whole day had a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere.

Thanks to the excellent staff weddings at Rowton Castle always run smoothly and this was no exception with guests being looked after in a professional and attentive manner.

There was quite a twist after the speeches where all the guests joined in a sing along to a couple of songs including that old classic “Love is all around” by Wet Wet Wet, what a brilliant way to wake everybody up after a meal and get them back into the mood for a party!
