Marquee wedding photography

Sarah and Rob had a lovely personalised wedding in Tissington, Derbyshire. The ceremony was held at St Mary’s Church and the reception was back at Sarah parents farm so there were lots of lovely DIY and personalised touches and details to really suit the couples personality.

The day started off with me arriving at Sarah’s parents for bridal prep, there was a house full of bridesmaids, family and friends all there to assist and increase the excitement levels. Meanwhile Rob was getting ready nearby in one of the farms cottages and his parents had arranged a very special surprise…a Ford Mustang to take him to the church, it goes without saying Rob was very surprised and exited when he heard and saw the classic Ford pull up the drive.

However Rob wasn’t the only one to arrive in style, Sarah’s parents had organised for her to arrive at the church by the most beautiful horse drawn carriage I have ever seen. So both bride and groom were arriving by very different but equally stylish forms of transport, the day started off well and the rest of the wedding was sure to follow suit.

After a wonderful church service everyone made their way back to the farm for the marquee wedding reception. It was blistering heat and binding sunshine but the couple had arranged Pimms on ice and ice creams as refreshments, what could be better on a hot summers day?

Both Sarah and Rob are zoo keepers so there was a subtle zoo theme throughout the wedding, tastefully done and suited the couples personality perfectly.
