The Moat House wedding photography – Faye and Adam

During the spring I was back once again to The Moat House in Acton Trussell, this time for the wedding of Faye and Adam. I’m certainly no stranger to The Moat House having got married there myself in 2012 and have shot there many times over the years.

Weddings at The Moat House

The Moat is a brilliant wedding venue with stunning grounds boasting access to two ponds and the canal. Highly attentive staff ensure the couple and their guests are extremely well looked.

St James Church Acton Trussell

Faye and Adam had their ceremony at the nearby church, St James. This was my first time shooting at St James and I was very pleased when the vicar allowed me to shoot from the front as I got some fabulous expressions during the ceremony.

Faye and Adam were very lucky with the weather, it was a brilliantly sunny day so guests were enjoying drinks and canapés by the canal whilst we made use of the extensive grounds for their wedding photos.

Sunset Photos at The Moat House

Sometimes with wedding photography you just get lucky. And during the evening Faye and Adam decided to practice their first dance in a nearby field I got extremely lucky, there was a beautiful sunset and everything fell right into place perfectly.
