Somerford Hall Spring wedding Rebecca and David

During the spring it was great to be back to Somerford Hall near Brewood Staffordshire, this time for the wedding of Rebecca and David.

Somerford Hall is a beautiful country mansion wedding venue situated in South Staffordshire. Having the most stunning choice of rooms to hold wedding ceremonies, and the option for outside ceremonies, its easy to see why this is such a popular choice. Not only is Somerford beautiful on the inside but the extensive grounds provide a great variety of backdrops for your wedding photos.

I had a little later start than normal with no bridal prep to shoot, instead catching up the the guys when they arrived at the venue already suited and booted ready for the day ahead. It wasn’t long until the guest started arriving and Rebecca made her way downstairs ready to tie the knot to David.

The happy couple had chosen The Drawing Room for their ceremony which is the perfect choice for medium sized wedding parties and boasts stunning natural light.

This was a super relaxed wedding, everyone was so friendly and welcoming at times I nearly had to remind myself I was working and not there as a guest! The guys wanted the story of the day captured with as little fuss as possible and that suited my style just right.

The weather beautiful and far warmer than average for the time of year This gave us opportunity to shoot outside loads and make the most of Somerford Halls impressive surroundings.

The evening finished off some with something a little different..instead of a first dance to a romantic ballad the bride and groom rocked some salsa dancing!
